Code of comduct
OBJECTIVE OF THE CODE
the purpose of this code is to educate all internal associates of choudhury's about the ethical values that we, the organisation, espouse and follow.
The choudhury's code of conduct aims to achieve the following objectives:
#. To demonstrate to the public and related persons that choudhury's ethics are soundly managed,
#. To describe choudhury's values and standards of business conduct.
#. To guide employees (direct or indirect) on how to resolve potentially difficult situations and conflicts of interest
#. To promote principles of respect and fairness in the work place and in dealings with the public and related persons.
MINIMUM STANDARDS OF CONDUCT AT choudhury's
- Complying with the law.
At a minimum,behaving ethically requires you to comply with all laws and regulations applicable to your activities on behalf of choudhury's. It requires you to work to the spirit of the law. You are responsible for understanding the laws,rules and regulations that affect or are relevant to your particular job.
- Fraudulent and dishonest activities: choudhury's has internal controls governing fraud committed by employees and by outsiders against choudhury's,its employees,associate etc.
You must report any suspected fraudulent acts or omission immediately to the functional head or direct to head office.
- Government: we respect the government, laws and institutions in the areas where we operate.
- Intellectual honesty: you will explicitly acknowledge and also give due credit to your colleagues from whom you have borrowed an idea.
- Conduct: you will focus on positive aspects of choudhury's while conversing with an outsider.
- Accountability: as a decision maker, you will be responsible for the consequences of your decisions and not shift blame to any of your team members.
- Open environment:
- you will encourage open and honest information sharing/discussion/feedback.
- You will discourage bad-mouthing and loose talk and will not indulge in the same.
- You will convey any disagreement with your performance appraisal directly to your head of the department.
- You will accept an idea generated by your team member,if it is better than you own judgement.

AVOIDING CONFLICTS OF INTEREST.

Choudhury's interest and avoiding any conflict between the two.
